Little Cotton Gems Logo Design

Little Cotton Gems asked if I could help them with their logo design. 

They wanted something that looked professional but didn't have the time to create a logo design themselves.

They sold items on Etsy, and were known for "hexies" and various sewing projects.

For the logo design, I utilised a needle as an icon. I wanted to keep the word "cotton" large and in a stylised typeface, to stand out and be the main part of the logo design.. 

I kept the rest of the logo design simple. The client had been using a blue colour scheme, so I applied that to the logo design.

I decided to utilise the hexie pattern elsewhere as part of a brand element. I create a hexie pattern and applied this to corners of the business stationery and collateral design.
