KJM Electrical Brand Design

The challenge.

KJM Electrical approached me with an exciting opportunity to develop a brand identity from scratch. They needed a distinctive logo design to help them stand out in the competitive Tauranga electrical services market. With no existing branding, their goal was to create a strong visual presence that would effectively promote their services and attract clients.

Design objectives.

The client envisioned a logo that would utilise a sleek colour scheme of silver and black, reflecting professionalism and modernity. They wanted a design that was not only unique but also set them apart from other electricians in the area. In addition to the main logo, KJM Electrical required versatile icons for use on business cards and van signage, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across various platforms.

Creative approach.

To meet these objectives, I decided to integrate an icon directly into the logo design. Given that one of KJM Electrical’s primary services was heat pump installation, the icon featured a stylised heat pump element, making it clear and relevant to their core offerings. This approach not only strengthened brand recognition but also conveyed a specific aspect of their expertise.

Implementation.

The final logo design was seamlessly applied to various brand collateral, including business cards, promotional materials, and van signage. Each element was crafted to ensure that the logo remained impactful and recognisable across different uses, reinforcing KJM Electrical's brand identity in the Tauranga area.
