Travel Wedding Invitations

Overview

This client wanted to use a travel theme for their wedding invitation design.

They enjoyed holidaying abroad, and wanted to emphasise that in their wedding stationery.

This was a fun theme to work with!

Travel Wedding Invitation Design

The wedding invitation was designed to look like a UK passport.

We kept the coat of arms on the front cover, to replicate the design, but added some hearts, their initials and simplified it a bit.

The inner leaves used a traditional passport layout, complete with a passport style photograph.

Insert Design

The client required an RSVP and a No Gifts poem to go with the invitation.

The RSVP design was based on a boarding card design. It left space for the guests to fill in their names and return the boarding pass. There were a lot of positive comments about the design.

The no gifts poem was designed to look like a luggage label.

Wedding Stationery Suite

The client required table names, which were based on countries the couple had visited. These were designed to look like the airport signage.

The place names were small suitcases complete with labels. These were also able to be used for favours for the guests too.

We also created an arrivals and departures sign, which was hung over the entrance and exit of the village hall, where the couple had their reception.

The table plan was based upon an aeroplane themed design.

For their thank you card, this was designed to look like a postcard, keeping with the travel theme.
